I find it unfortunate that climate change has become a political football being played out in our media like some election campaign. It is also a shame that something so monumental and life changing should be weighed in terms of economic cost. The contention is over the question; “Is climate change natural or man made?”

I have viewed many methods for checking a string for specific characters on the Internets. While there are number of methods contained within .NET, none worked 100%. Regex wasn’t good enough for me, nor was GetInvalidFileNameChar() as each would miss some invalid characters. For those needing ideas, here is my code.

This discussion won’t be about whether or not Sanders can win, that is beyond the point of this discussion even though I believe that Bernie Sanders does have a chance. Now, Bernie Sanders will tell us that he is not like Trump and fundamentally he is not, however he is in that the attraction to both is the same mechanism…. both are willing to put out their message without all the political double speak and voters have been starving for that.
